Violin Solo Concert by Sri Kadanadu V K Haridas

Hi Everyone,

On 1st June 2010, Sri Kadanadu V K Haridas performed a violin Solo concert in our Recital Studio located at Prenavam Sangeetha. He played many nice keerthanas and varnams, capturing our attention to his playing. On the mridangam to accompany him, we had Sri Trivandrum V Surendran who is a disciple of the Great Palaghat Mani Iyer.The concert was very useful to the audience.

Swathi Thirunal Music Festiveal 2010- Day 2 Swathi Ninaivu

Hi Everyone,

On 29th and 30th May 2010, as told in the earlier post, our school, Prenavam Sangeetha conducted Sree Swathi Thirunal Music Festival 2010. On the second day of the celebrations, our students got a chance to showcase their hidden music talents by singing in solo and groups. All of our students had performed and sang very well. We would like to congratulate our students for their hard work and practice to perform and sing this well. Many musical lovers and fans came to support the music festival on both days. The second day was also full house.To accompany our students, on the violin was Sri Kadanadu V K Haridas who is a lecturer in Sree Swathi Thirunal Music College. On the mridangam, we had our own student, Maestro Akshay Lenin.Our accompaniying artists did a wonderful job by supporting our students. Also there is another piece of good news for everyone. Our school, Prenavam Sangeetha , gave a special award titled " Prenava Nadha Nipuna" to Sri Kadanadu V K Haridas who was a great help and a good violin artist who displayed great violin skills.We would like to congratulate him for getting the award.There was also a Swathi Thirunal Aradhana before ending the Swathi Thirunal Music Festival.The song that was sang for the aradhana was titled Bhavayumme Raguramam.It created the full efect of the Ramayana Story.Thelead singer for the Aradhana was our own Guru Sri Lenin.As the second year we are conducting this festival, it has been a great success overall and an excellent learning oppurtunity for all.

Swathi Thirunal Music Festival 2010 - Day 1 Swathi Smarana Vocal Concert

Hi Everyone,

On 29th and 30th May 2010, Prenavam Sangeetha Conducted the Swathi thirunal Music festival 2010. On the first day of the celebrations which was 29th May 2010, our Guru Sri Lenin sang a 3h 30mins vocal concert which was very impressive and stunning. The vocal concert also made students understand better about singing and practicing. To accompany Sri Lenin on the violin, there was Sri Kadanadu V K Haridas who is a violin lecturer in Sree Swathi Thirunal Music College. On the mridangam, there was Sri Trivandrum V Surendran to accompany. He is a disciple of the great palaghat Mani Iyer.There was also a question answer session for the audience and prizes were given out for those who answered the questions correctly. The audience was also full house. Not only that, there is a good news to share with all.Our Guru Sri Lenin received a very prestegious award titled " Sangeetha Thilakam" from the Udanyanoor Devi Kshetra Music Festival Commitee in Kerala, India. The music festival turned out to be a very successful one indeed. We would like to thank the audience who came to the concert and greatly supported us.

Sree Mariamman Temple @ Chinatown Mandalabishegam Kacheri By Guru Sri Lenin

Hi Everyone!

On 16 May 2010, our Guru Sri Lenin, sang a wonderful kacheri at Sree Mariamman Temple located at Chinatown during the Mandalabishegam Celebrations.Accompaniying Him on the violin was Sree Kadanadu VK Haridas, violin lecturer of Sree Swathi Thirunal Music College and on the mridangam, Sree Trivandrum V Surendran who is a disciple of the great Palaghat Mani Iyer. Overall, the kacheri was stunning and impressive. It created a vibrant energy and a pleasant musical experience for all.
